Kimberly Hayes is a diehard animal lover.  She has been a vet technician at Clermont Veterinary Hospital since 1991. Hayes says since high school she has worked with the Gainesville Humane Society, so she has felt like helping people and animals is her calling. Kimberly has been in Hall County for many years, but is originally from Korea.
Kimberly Hayes1Hayes is a helping hand for animals that don’t have a home. She works to help put rescue animals in homes before they have to go through shelters. Kimberly herself has saved many animals and taken them under her wing. For instance, she has a dog that was rescued from a fire and was not supposed to be alive today, but she has nursed it back to health.
Hayes has an incredible relationship with her daughter Megan. They often frequent the Japanese Steak House Kiku, which is located on Dawsonville Highway for authentic Japanese food. Hayes also enjoys Lake Lanier around the Olympic Rowing Venue in Hall County.
We caught up with Kimberly at the Veterinary Clinic to ask her a few questions.
