Knowles Thompson started skiing when he was just 3 years old and today at 8, he is already slalom skiing and wakeboarding like a pro on Lake Lanier! Wakeboarding is a recent accomplishment for Knowles and it came from a fun challenge from his parents, Ryan and Elizabeth Thompson.
Knowles wanted to learn how to wakeboard and his parents said he could, once he could slalom ski. Within a few months Knowles was slalom skiing and wakeboarding. Although, he says he’ll probably stick to slalom skiing because “it’s more challenging.”
He added that he likes skiing because, “I really like to get wet and my dream was to stand on water and my dreams came true.”
