Patrick McCormac, a recent University of Alabama graduate and manager of Tap IT Gainesville Growlers, was born and raised in Hall County and attended North Hall High.
His favorite place to have a pizza is Mellow Mushroom but admits his favorite watering hole for a pint is Tap IT. Which goes hand in hand with his personal mantra, “Always put things in perspective as glass half full.”
As a manager at Tap IT, a beer filling station in Gainesville, McCormac has a hand in selecting craft beer to share with Northeast Georgia and plans bi-monthly events called Tap IT Takeovers. These events feature a special brewery every other week and brings in a food truck from Atlanta to serve a wide array of cuisines.
Outside of being a beer connoisseur and home brewer, he loves to spend time on Lake Lanier with friends and his girlfriend Katie.
