Meet Bitsy Smith and Kenneth Duarte! Bitsy and Kenneth are the 2023 Red Ragers (Gainesville High football student section) leaders. Both are seniors at GHS and huge Red Elephant football fans!
Tonight, the Red Elephants take on Blessed Trinity in the second round of the state playoffs at City Park.
We want to thank them for recently spending time with us and telling us more about their life and love of Hall County.

Question: Please tell us a little about yourself.
Answer: B: “My parents are Sis Ware and Hart Smith, step parents Scott Ware and Cassie Smith. I have four sisters Katherine Carney, Suzanne Smith, Lauren Ware and Nolie Smith.”
K: “My parents are Raul and Maria Duarte.”

Q: What is your favorite part of leading the Red Ragers?
A: B: “My favorite part about leading the Red Ragers is getting the crowd excited and hype!!”
K: “I love leading and being loud with everyone in the student section.”

Q: What do you have planned for the game on Friday? Score prediction?
A: B: “My goal is to get a lot of people there for the game and make sure the student section is excited. I hope we win but I hope it’s a kind of tight score.”
K: “This Friday I think we are going to secure the win.”

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County?
A: B: “My favorite restaurant is El Tepache.”
K: “My favorite restaurant in Gainesville is Bluefin.”

Q: What do you love the most about Gainesville High School?
A: B: “I love how many people there are at Gainesville and the teachers who work at GHS are very supportive.”
K: “I love the atmosphere at Gainesville.”
