All the way from the Granite State meet Larry and Sandy Dreihaup. The Dreihaups decided to migrate to the South from their home in New Hampshire.  They looked at several different places to retire and decided to buy a new home in Cresswind on Lake Lanier. We welcome them to Hall County.
Question: Before retiring, what were your professions?Larry and Sandy Dryhaup
Answer:  Larry was a civil engineer and Sandy was a medical secretary.
 
Q: What is your favorite place to eat in Hall County, so far?
A: Fishtails
 
Q: Who’s the most interesting person you’ve met in Hall County?
A: Jill Abernathy.  For many winters in a row the Dreihaups would escape the New Hampshire cold and lease for 4 months the Abernathy’s beach condo in Ormond Beach, Florida. That is how they met Jill.  Through conversations with Jill they made their way to looking at homes in Gainesville’s own Cresswind on Lake Lanier.  They loved what they saw, chose a lot, a floor plan, contracted for a new home, and asked Jill to assist them in choosing their design choices.
 
Q: What is your favorite author?
A: “Stuart Woods.”
 
Q: What is your favorite type of music?
A: “Country”
 
Q: If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
A: “The Canadian Rockies”
 
Q: If you could give a crowd of people a piece of advice, what would you say?
A: “Live where you’d like to live, enjoy it, and get involved in the community.”
 
Q: When have you felt the most satisfied in your life?
A: “Right now.  We are retired and have grandkids.”
 
Q: Favorite thing about living in Hall County?
A: “That we are living much closer to our son’s family here in Georgia.”
