Tre Gober is a senior at Lakeview Academy. He is the Student Council President, plays basketball, and also is involved in performing arts.
“I enjoy basketball and theater for similar reasons. I get to be a part of a group that shares a common goal, but I have individual roles in each,” Tre said. After graduation, Tre will be attending Pfeiffer University in Richfield, N.C. to play basketball. Tre is originally from Charlotte, N.C. and is excited to be attending college only an hour from his birthplace. He is the oldest of four children. Tre enjoys time on the lake and hanging out with friends.
We’d like to thank Tre for sitting down with us to answer a few questions, and would like to wish him luck in the future.
Question: What inspired you to play basketball?
Answer: “My dad wanted me to play sports and I tried football which I wasn’t very good at. I tried basketball which I still wasn’t too good at, but I practiced a ton. I would always watch basketball on TV too, so I always loved the sport. I hope to do something with it in the future.”
