Over the summer Broughton and Regina Cochran traveled to the Grand Canyon with their two daughters, Christina White and Julie Bingham along with Christina’s son’s; Parker and Palmer.
Their 8-day expedition, planned through National Geographic Expeditions, was filled with visits to Pipe Springs, Grand Canyon National Park, mule rides, Angel Canyon, Zion National Park, a hike through The Narrows, Bryce National Park, Kolob Canyon and more.
Regina said her favorite part of the trip was the hike through The Narrows.
“The Narrows gets more narrow as you walk through the (Virgin) river, that was the main reason I wanted to take the trip,” said Regina, who had visited the Grand Canyon once before with her husband. “And I wanted to see the National Parks through the eyes of Parker and Palmer.”
