Meet Anna Montgomery! Anna is a senior at North Hall High School and plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. We want to congratulate Anna and her family on her upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “My parents are Mark and Donna Montgomery and my brother is John Mark Montgomery. My mom attended
the University of Georgia and my brother is currently attending there.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan to attend the University of Georgia and study Advertising.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “My friends and I always go to either Chick-fil-A or Zaxby’s.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “It would probably be Monte Carlo because I have always wanted to go to Europe and ever since I saw the
movie Monte Carlo with Selena Gomez it just seems like a really cool place.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite movies are definitely ‘Scream’ and ‘Monte Carlo.’ I watch so many TV shows it’s hard to choose, but I love ‘Vampire Diaries.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what
would you say?
A: “I wish I had known that Friday was it! I would have hugged them a little tighter, laughed with them more, and cherished the time we had. It really does fly so make the best of it.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want
to be in?
A: “I would probably want to be in ‘Gossip Girl’ because I’ve always wanted to live in New York and it would be fun and interesting to see what that type of life style would be like.”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally,
would you meet for this lunch?
A: “It would 100% be Harry Styles. I would taken him to The Inn Between because I absolutely love their turkey sandwich and I would want the sandwich to make him as happy as it makes me. Then, we’d go have a picnic and just hang out.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “I like how it’s not too big, but not too small and that there is a sense of community, where everywhere you go you can find a friendly face.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “In five years, I would love to take a year and travel and in 10 years I see myself settling down and having my own advertising firm.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I would love to learn how to surf in Hawaii.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Harry Styles.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is July because when I think of July I think of summer and fireworks and hanging out with my friends on the lake. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love the happy atmosphere and all the lights. The best single day on the calendar is February 29 because it only happens every four years.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “The wings at the restaurant Chopped at the Battery.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Go to college.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My mother inspires me to be better because she’s a mom and a best friend all in one. She’s someone I can
joke with, but she’s not afraid to put me in my place.”
