Meet Emma O’Neal! Emma is a senior at West Hall High School. She is the daughter of Steven and Christy O’Neal. After graduation, Emma plans to attend the University of Georgia and then onto law school. We want congratulate Emma on her upcoming graduation and best wishes on her future endeavors!

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I am an only child to Steven and Christy O’Neal. We moved to Flowery Branch the summer of fifth grade and love the sense of community and peace Hall County provides!”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I will be attending to UGA and look forward to Law School at NYU or Columbia!”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “My favorite restaurants include Crossroads in Flowery Branch and Taqueria El Antojito in Oakwood.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Paris, France. I had a college tour over there and it was canceled due to Corona.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “‘Jane the Virgin’ and ‘Vampire Diaries.'”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Find the perfect balance for you between friends school and work! MOST IMPORTANTLY—have FUN.”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘Gossip Girl.'”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “My second grade teacher, Ms. Davilla. She pushed me into the gifted program and I genuinely believe she is one of the biggest contributors to where I am today. We would probably eat at Taqueria El Antojito.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “Diversity and all the different cultures I have learned about through being friends with so many different people.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Being an International Defense Attorney and traveling!”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Turning a van into a living space that I can drive across the U.S.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Trippie Redd.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “December, Christmas, December 25.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Clogging.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Go to New York!”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents.”
