Meet Gabriella Bulford! Gabriella recently graduated from Flowery Branch High School and plans to attend Agnes Scott College in the fall. We want to congratulate Gabby and her family on her graduation and best wishes in the future.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I live with my dad and our 4 rescue dogs in Flowery Branch.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan to earn a B.A in art history at Agnes Scott College in Decatur.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “I love El Centinela and Wasabi. Both have amazing food and are very special to me because my family and I always go there to celebrate special occasions.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Either Quebec, Canada or Switzerland. Both are beautiful places, and people in both places speak French.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite TV show is a webseries called ‘Bee & Puppycat.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Try to have fun. Its always great to good grades and try your best, but don’t beat yourself up for a few B’s or C’s (just don’t fail any classes!). Make sure to take a step back sometimes and have fun with your friends and family.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “Honestly, I have no idea.”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “My great grandmother. She passed away a couple years ago; I was young and I didn’t really have time to get to know her. I would take her to Fish Tales because she loved being by the water.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The way we help each other. I’m a member of three service clubs and a president of two others. Being able to mobilize, organize, and help people in need will always be the best thing about our community.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “Hopefully, just happy and living a good life.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Sky diving.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Frank Iero and the Patience.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite holiday is Halloween, my favorite month is December, and my favorite day on the calendar is April 18 (my birthday).”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Go to the movies. I really wanted to see ‘A Quiet Place 2’ before anything happened.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My uncle and my grandfather have always inspired me to push myself as an artist, and my dad has always inspired me to do the best that I can in life.”
