Meet Isabella Appling! Isabella is a senior at Gainesville High School. In the fall she will be attending Emmanuel College to play volleyball. Her parents are Wesley and Shannon and she has one sister. We want to congratulate Isabella and her family on her upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents are Wesley and Shannon Appling. I have a younger sister named Carlina.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I will be attending Emmanuel College and will be playing volleyball.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Longstreet and Mellow Mushroom.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Hawaii because it’s so pretty.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “‘Mamma Mia,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy.'”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Enjoy every moment and don’t take it for granted!”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘One Tree Hill.'”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “Morgan Hentz because she is my volleyball idol. I would probably take her to Mellow Mushroom.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “There are always people you can turn to if you need help.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “In physical therapy school.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Travel out of the country.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Luke Combs.”

A: “June; Thanksgiving; January 10th (my birthday).”

A: “Longstreet breakfast.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Play volleyball!”

A: “My family.”
