Meet Madison Brock! Madison just graduated from North Hall High School. She will attend Brenau University in the fall to play volleyball and study business. Her parents are Michael and Brooke and she has one younger sister. We want to congratulate Madison on her recent graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents are Michael and Brooke Brock and I have a younger sister Savannah Brock. My dad served
in the United States Air Force for seven years and now is a crew leader for Georgia Power and my mom
works at Gainesville High School in the SPED Department.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I am going to Brenau University on a volleyball scholarship and I plan to major in business and get a
MBA in marketing.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “My favorite restaurants are Bluefin and Atlas.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to Spain right now because this time of year is Féria. I would want to go because
whenever I was younger this was my favorite time of year whenever I lived there.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “I love all the Fast and Furious movies. ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘9-1-1’ are my favorite shows because of
how intense they are.”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what
would you say?
A: “Seniors, we will get through this and we have been with each other through out the whole 12 years.
We are strong and we got this. Underclassmen, cherish every moment you get, get to know as many
people as you can, go to every sporting event and go all out because soon it will be over in a blink of an
eye and you will want to go back.”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want
to be in?
A: “I would cast myself in ‘Big Brother’ because I am super competitive and I am really good at talking to
people. I know I would be able to take home the $500,000.”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally,
would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would choose Ellen because I love her positive and funny personality. I would take her to Bluefin
because it is my favorite.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community are all the small businesses we have and they are all
different from everything else and their styles are so unique.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “I really do not know where I see myself in five to 10 years, but hopefully I will be getting started on my
career, with my own place and a dog.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I want to travel to all the islands in Greece.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “The Weekend is my go to always.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is June, my favorite holiday is Christmas and my favorite single day on the
calendar is January 1st because it is a fresh start.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Homemade sweet tea.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as the pandemic is over?
A: “I want to go on a shopping spree as soon as all of this is over because I miss being able to go into
stores and not have to worry about anything.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My Aunt Melody inspires me to be better because she has showed me how hard work pays off and
she encourages me to be the best version of myself.
