Meet Jordan Jackson. Jordan is a senior at Chestatee High School and plans to attend the University of North Georgia in the fall. Her parents are Jay and Lisa Jackson. We want to congratulate Jordan on her upcoming graduation and best wishes on her future endeavors.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I am the daughter of Jay and Lisa Jackson, and I have one younger sister, Jessica, who is in 10th grade at Chestatee High School.”
What are your plans after graduation?
A: “After graduation, I plan to attend the University of North Georgia and study environmental science.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Two of my favorite restaurants in our community would be Pueblos Mexican restaurant and Avocados on the square.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to Bora Bora because the scenery there is beautiful and also the beaches are amazing.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “One of my favorite movies is ‘The Blind Side.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “I would say to never take a moment of high school for granted. You never know what will happen and the experience will be gone before you know it.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “If I was able to be casted into a television show or series I would choose to be in ‘The Office.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “If I could choose to have lunch with anyone I would have lunch with Jesus because he is one of the best people to have ever lived. I do not think he would care where we went to eat but I would take him to Avocados or
Longstreet.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about the community is the different parks around the area that are offered. I love going to a park and just walking or running and socializing with people. My favorite park is Wilshire Trials.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “I see myself will my own apartment hopefully working at a good, stable job in environmental science. Hopefully I will also have a boyfriend / husband.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “One thing on my bucket list is skydiving.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “My go to singer when I cannot decide what to listen to is Ariana Grande.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is October because I love fall and also my birthday and Halloween are during this month. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love celebrating with all of my family and eating wonderful food. I also
enjoy all of the church festivities that are during Christmas time.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “I would rate my soccer team at Chestatee a 10 out of 10. All of the girls and my coach, Coach Tyler Pineda, are so nice and they pushed me to get better. We made such good memories together this season.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “As soon as this pandemic ends I want to see all of my best friends, give them really big hugs, and then go do something really fun with them.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents inspire me to be better. They always have my back and are encouraging me no matter what.”
