The wait is finally over! Gainesville’s first Skate Park is open for bikes, skateboards and scooters. The park is located at 636 SW High Street on the corner of High Street and Pine Street on the Midtown Greenway. The park offers bathrooms, a water fountain and covered seating.
There are ramps, rails and other jump opportunities around the park; which was designed by renowned skate park designer Wally Hollyday.
The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to dark and is free. There is parking on two sides of the park for your convenience. For more info: www.gainesville.org
