Meet Jada Robertson! Jada is a senior at Gainesville High School and will be attending Montreat College in North Carolina in the fall where she will continue cheerleading.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My family is very loving and caring. They always spread positivity and try their best to uplift others.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “My plan after graduation is to attend Montreat College in North Carolina to continue being a student athlete as a cheerleader. I plan on majoring in Elementary Education.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “My two favorite restaurants in our community are Avocado’s and Wild Wings Cafe.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “If I could travel anywhere right now it would be to Germany, it is so beautiful and has always been my dream country to visit since I was little.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “One of my favorite movies is ‘Titanic,’ and my favorite show is ‘Vampire Diaries.'”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “My advice to my senior class and younger Gainesville students is to stay goal oriented and prioritize. You will have time to go out or be on social media, it’s best to work hard it will set you up for success.”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘90210’ (the original).”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “If I could choose anyone to have lunch with it would be Sydney McLaughlin. The reason I choose her is because she is an amazing runner and a great role model for Christian athletes. I would want to meet for lunch at our local Chipotle to keeps things casual.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community is how supportive everyone is.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “In 5-10 years I see myself teaching in Texas and married with children.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “To zip line (I have a fear of heights).”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “My go to singer when I can’t decide who to listen to is Morgan Wallen.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is March, Christmas is my favorite holiday, and the best since day on the calendar is the 11th.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “The feeling after seeing your hard work pay off.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Something I want to do when the pandemic is over is to visit older family members without needing to worry about their health.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “Someone who has always inspired me to be better is my mom.”
