Meet Cynthia Guerrero, a student studying Diagnostic Medical Sonography here in Hall County. She has lived n Hall County for over 20 years. We recently spoke to Cynthia to talk to her about her interests and her life in Hall County.
Question: If you could eat at one place for an entire week in Hall County, where would it be?
Answer: “Green’s Grocery, the chicken salad is amazing!”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Hall County?
A: “I can’t name just one! The most memorable have been my teachers throughout the years. They were always so helpful and encouraging.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere right now, where would it be?
A: Monaco
Q: What song reminds you of Hall County?
A: “‘My Town’ by Montgomery Gentry.”
Q: What is your favorite social outing in Hall?
A: “Currently the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.”
Q: What is your favorite sandwich?
A: Chicken salad on white from Green’s.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “I would encourage them to read the Bible.”
Q: What will you be doing this Friday night in Hall County?
A: “Studying for a test.”
Q: What activities in the area do you take part in?
A: “When I’m not in school, I volunteer at the hospital (NEGAMC).”
Q: When have you felt the most satisfied in your life?
A: “When I began studying the Bible; and making a conscious effort to live by its principles.”
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non relative: who would you love to have lunch with tomorrow?
A: “Oprah, I love her outlook on life and all of her advice.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County?
A: “I love the diversity here, we are all able to enjoy the best of so many worlds. Hall County is a place of growth and opportunity, and even as we continue to grow and thrive, we still have that small town feel where the people are kind and humble. I am so grateful to live here, this has been a place that has allowed me to fulfill my educational goals. Both of my parents immigrated here as teens settling in Gainesville. Here, they found the opportunity to work hard and progress. I know that all of my accomplishments are also theirs.”
