Happy Birthday today to local business owner Tracy Waggoner! Tracy has lived in Hall County her entire life and recently opened a new business, The Iron Rose, on Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville.
The Iron Rose offers shopping delights featuring current home accessories, affordable furniture and lighting, stylish jewelry, garden treasures and much more.
Today, to kick off the holiday season, The Iron Rose will have a Christmas Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. today (Dec. 3). There will be refreshments, specials and door prizes.
Recently, we caught up with Tracy to find out a little more about her life in Hall County.
Question: What is your favorite place to eat in Hall County?
Answer: “2Dog Cafe.”
Q: What is your favorite social outing in Hall County?
A: “We love all of the outdoor concerts in the area.”
Q: What part of Gainesville makes you feel the most nostalgic?
A: “The square.”
Q: Who are the top musicians you would want to see, alive or dead?
A: “Elton John and Billy Joel”
Q: If you could give a crowd of people a piece of advice, what would you say?
A: “Be more thoughtful and considerate of others.”
Q: At what moment did you feel the most satisfied in your life?
A: “When my daughter Ali was born.”
