Meet Madeleine Cook! Madeleine is a senior at North Hall High School and the daughter of Matthew and Kate Cook. She has a sister, Carol and brother, Ethan.
Madeleine is a mid-fielder and co-captain on the Varsity Soccer team at North Hall and participates in DECA, Beta Club and Habitat for Humanity; among others.
She is representing the Gainesville Rotary Club in the Gainesville-Hall County Junior League’s Charity Ball.
We want to thank Madeleine for recently taking a few moments with us to tell us more about her life and love of Hall County.
Question: How long have you lived in Hall County?
Answer: 
“I have lived in Gainesville since sixth grade…we moved from Columbus.”
Q: Who has been your favorite teacher over the years?
A: 
“My favorite teacher would probably be my AP Literature teacher last year, Dr. James Robinson. He made class really interesting and literature interesting. He actually was the headmaster at Lakeview before I got there and he has taught at Young Harris and North Georgia…he took most concepts to another level.
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: “My favorite book is called ‘Fathers and Sons,’ it’s translated from Russian, I believe.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County?
A: “My favorite restaurant in Hall County is Blue Fin.”
Q: Where are you hoping to attend college?
A: “I’m hoping to get accepted to the University of Georgia. I will be so happy (if I’m accepted), it’ll take so much stress off. ”
Q: What famous person would you want to take to lunch and where would you go?
A: 
“I would probably take Chrissy Teagan because she seems really funny from her Twitter and she seems like a good person and helps with charities. And we would go to The Palm in Atlanta.”
