Meet Scott Gooch! Scott works at his family business, Precision Hair Kutters, in Gainesville. Precision has been open for the last 50 years and a local favorite.
We want to thank Scott for speaking with us recently and telling us more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Answer: “My Father and Grandfather started this business 50 years ago, and I am the third generation in it.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there?
A: “Longstreet Cafe. Chicken Tenders, Green Beans, and Fried Cabbage.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I’ve worked here at Precision my whole life.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met in Hall County and why?
A: “Gov. Nathan Deal. He’s been a customer of our’s since we opened, and it has been interesting to talk to him through the years.”
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: “Going hunting with my grandfather.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: Colorado. I like to snow ski.
Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “‘Under the Rainbow.'”
Q: What is something that people don’t know about you, even for friends and family.Â
A: “That I am a picky eater.”
