Meet Tre’ Anderson! Tre’ is a Hall County native and the VP of Sales at Syfan Logistics. Tre’ has been across the United States working for Syfan, visiting 36 out of 50 states and more to come, he says. Tre’ also was a member of the United States Air Force.
Tre’ is married and has three children; Nicolas, 21, who also works at Syfan Logistics, Nylah, 13 and Sebastian, 7.
We want to thank Tre’ for spending time with us recently and telling more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Answer: “Sales were something that came to me and I enjoyed doing. I think you should always enjoy what you do.”
Q: Where did you go to school?
A: “I went to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College by way of the 96th Air Force.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I went to Gainesville High till 9th grade then graduated from East Hall. I coached at Gainesville while Coach Miller was there with Deshaun Watson.”
Q: Did you play any sports in high school?
A: “I played football and wrestling; those were my main two sports I played.”
Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in Hall County?
A: “I’d have to go with the Collegiate Grill, I love their burgers.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I’ve almost lived in Hall County for 40 years now.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now where would it be? And why?
A: “I really want to go to Israel and the reason why is I want to see all the places Jesus walked. It’s just a whole different side of the Earth I want to see.”
Q: What is your favorite movie or the first movie you remember seeing in the theatre?
A: “When I was a kid I was a big ‘Star Wars’ fan, but once I graduated high school a movie came out called ‘Tombstone’ and I’d say that’s still my favorite movie.”
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “Just to never give up.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Definitely, would say go to Israel as I said earlier, but through Syfan I’ve been to 36 out of 50 states so I’d like to be able to say I’ve been to all 50 states. My favorites so far are Illinois, California, and Manhattan.”
Q: What are your favorite/ three bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: “My favorite type of music is R&B and my three bands I’d like to see dead or alive are Prince, Isley Brothers, and LL Cool J. I can’t just do three so add Lil’ Wayne and Outkast.”
Q: What current/former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Hall County?
A: “The ones most nostalgic to me are the Falcons training practice and Wrigley.”
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Hall County?
A: “I love that Gainesville is a small town, but still has the big city feel as well. Not many places you can find like Gainesville.”
Q: What three words or phrases that come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: Family, relaxation, and love.”
Q: If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be your co-star, who would you choose?
A: “Jamie Foxx.”
