The pandemic hasn’t slowed down one of our favorites: 2 Dog Cafe.
“Overnight we changed the logistics of how we do things. We set up sanitation stations for the servers and they have been troupers. They have fallen in line with everything and been really great. We take orders online and people call the restaurant to order from our daily menu, which is just like eating every day, they just place an order and can come by to pick it up or we can deliver it for $3,” 2 Dog owner Tina Roberts said. ”

They can also call me, and we are offering family dinner menus, which means things that are packed for five or more people. We are about to add a charcuterie platter to that and do a package with wine.”

“We set up a pick-up area in our upper level parking lot where we have a window hanging on a tree that has the restaurant phone number, so when you pull up you can call that number so that you never have to get out of your car and all credit card transactions happen over the phone so that we never touch your card.”
Some of our favorite items on the menu at 2 Dog are the shrimp and grits, Mojo pulled pork sandwiches, the Rosa with chicken salad, chicken tacos and the peanut butter pie is to die for.
“My go to right now is our personal pan pizza and a side salad. I probably eat that three times a week,” Tina added.
