Meet Ron Combs, longtime Hall County resident, owner of Combs Pest Control and Army veteran.
“I’ve worked in the pest control industry for 22 years, starting with Orkin July 1994,” he said. “I started my own business 14 years ago because I love taking care of people. As a manager with several pest control businesses, I saw technicians under-deliver and wanted to make sure that when a customer was promised something, they could trust they’d get it!”
Ron is a self-proclaimed Military brat, who’s father is a Coast Guard vet and grandfather a Navy vet. He attended both Maranatha Christian and North Hall High School and spent four years in the Army and is a qualified Jumpmaster with 128 jumps.
“And yes, it was scary the first few times!,” he said.
He attended UGA and studied business, is married to Amy Combs, with a 26 year old daughter and a 21 year old step son.
We recently caught up with Ron to find out a little more about him and his love of the Hall County area.
Question:Â Who are some of the most interesting people you’ve met while living in Hall County?
A: “Deal with a locally owned professional business. You’re more likely to get an honest opinion and it may actually SAVE you money. With the big companies, you’re merely a number.”
The Faces of Hall County is a project to showcase the amazing people that live or work in our community. If you would like to nominate an interesting person to be featured please email babernathy@gonorton.com.
